MCPAW is once again grateful to be the recipient of a grant from the Maryland Department of Agriculture to perform spay/neuter services for community cats in Montgomery County. The grant period began on October 1 and ends on September 30, 2019. For this grant period, we can only fund spay and neuter of community cats in two zip codes: 20902 and 20904. If you know of any caretakers who need help in these areas, please have them contact us.
We are also looking for more trappers to help us with our TNR efforts! If you have an interest in learning how to trap cats or already have experience and want to help, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Would you or your organization like to do something to help the animals? How about making cat and dog toys? It's something you can do at your location. Then you can either drop them off at MCASAC or let us know and we can pick them up. Email email@example.com if you have any questions or wish for us to pick up. Here are the instructions!
Doing Everything Humanly Possible for homeless Pets
MCPAW (Montgomery County Partners for Animal Well-Being) is the non-profit partner of the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC). We work through MCASAC to keep homeless pets healthy and happy while awaiting adoption.
Our goals are:
- Reduce the number of animals that come to MCASAC
- Pamper, protect and provide for animals inside MCASAC
- Educate and engage the community in causes for animal welfare
Our work depends on your donations. Here are some of our programs in need of your support:
MCPAW has an extensive wish list on Amazon.com to help the homeless animals at MCASAC. All items go directly to the animals!
